Olivia Blaskovic
Olivia began dancing at the age of three at Epiphany Dance & Co, and over the years, her passion for the art form has grown immensely. She trained at the McDonald College for three years, where she became a dual scholarship winner for RAD Ballet and Tap & Jazz. During this time, she also performed with the Imperial Russian Ballet in The Nutcracker at the State Theatre, marking an early highlight in her performance career.
Olivia represented McDonald College in multiple genres and competitive troupes, earning 1st place awards in contemporary and classical sections at the Sydney Eisteddfod. She is now continuing her training at Epiphany Dance & Co., where she has completed her Advanced 2 and Solo Seal jazz exams, achieving high distinctions in all her jazz exams, and is currently focusing on advanced levels of RAD ballet and BBO tap exam work.
Her dedication to dance has also led her to participate in prestigious programs such as Tanya Pearson Academy’s Summer Intensive and Sydney Dance Company’s Youth Summer Intensive Program. Olivia has taken part in NSW Arts Unit workshops, including those aimed at HSC dance students and in collaboration with the Australian Ballet. She was honored to perform at the RAD’s 80th Gala Event and the fundraising event ‘Project Pink’ alongside Australian singer/songwriter Delta Goodrem.
Olivia’s stage credits include a notable role in Mary Poppins with Packemin Productions, where she performed alongside Penny McNamee from Home and Away and Sam Moran from The Wiggles. As a competitive soloist, she has earned the Most Versatile Dancer Award and received Top 5 Dancer Awards on two occasions. Additionally, Olivia has explored modeling and honed her musical skills at the International School of Music, achieving honors in her exams.
Olivia’s “Epiphany Moment” – This is the profound sense of accomplishment she felt as she took her final curtsey after completing her Solo Seal jazz exam. With a smile and out of breath, she reflected on her journey from her first jazz exam in 2012 to this significant achievement. It was a moment of pure joy and satisfaction, a culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and growth as a dancer.
